I don’t know how you can be an architect without going to Italy.
My brand new wife and I went recently and we were absolutely taken by the country. It was by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The art, architecture, people, food and their way of life is beautiful. It has certainly reshaped how I look at architecture and life. One thing in particular I want to share with you are some of the doors I saw. Some were in small villages and others were in larger cities. To me the beauty is equal in all of them.
