Darryl A. Cobb, AIA, NCARB
Hello, I'm Darryl. Welcome to the Cobb Architects, LLC website. I have been in the architectural profession for over 20 years, and I established my firm in 2000. I am very passionate about architecture and every aspect of what I design. I like to be involved in a project from the first conceptual sketch through the construction process. Every detail matters and my firm is passionate about designing to the highest possible quality.
I absolutely love the fact that I make a living designing buildings and homes. To me, if the architecture is designed and constructed well it can be art; it is sculpture that you occupy. I love how people bring me ideas, photos and magazine clippings and I have the opportunity to design buildings that exceed their wildest expectations.
I have a Bachelors of Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and I am a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Board, and the Custom Residential Architects Network. I would truly love the opportunity to talk to you about your new project.
Mary Cobb
Mary Cobb is my sweet mom. She is an integral part of my firm and has been since 2003. She brings much needed office management skills to my firm and handles EVERYTHING not design related. I am truly blessed to have her in charge of the things that architects are not good at doing.
Katie Bigbie
Katie graduated in 2003 from Clemson University, with a Bachelors of Science in Design, and has been an integral part of my firm for eight years. Trying to put her job description into words is impossible. A few months ago I asked her to do just that and she just laughed at me. She has valuable input on the design work but more importantly she does all the computer drawings and has an exceptionally sharp eye when it comes to construction administration. Katie has assisted many of our clients with selecting tile, countertops, lighting and plumbing fixtures, paint colors and many other products.
